MOOW stands out for its highly interactive format that encourages intense collaboration over a condensed one-week period, where participants co-develop actionable solutions for real-world problems. The MOOW framework is structured into three phases: Impact Day, Digital Bootcamp, and MOOW Talks. Impact Day is for recruiting participants and introducing the topic through field experts. Digital Bootcamp, the core of MOOW, involves participants in a collaborative, team-based environment to develop prototypes and innovative solutions, culminating in a project presentation session. Lastly, MOOW Talks extend the learning experience with expert speakers who delve deeper into the workshop's main theme. This study contrasts MOOW with MOOCs, which offer flexibility but limited real-time interaction, and digital bootcamps, which are more structured and interactive but less focused on co-creation. Additionally, the article will include preliminary findings from a pilot study of MOOW, involving 28 students from the University of Naples Federico II, which assessed participant satisfaction. %8 12/2024 %* yes
