Recursos accesibles para todos: recomedaciones de lectura fácil

ABSTRACT
Una de las características de los recursos educativos abiertos (REA) es la accesibilidad, entendida como la facilidad con la que un recurso puede ser localizado y utilizado.En ocasiones esa accesibilidad se relaciona únicamente con la gratuidad de los materiales y con su disponibilidad en repositorios y plataformas. Sin embargo, hay un aspecto fundamental que no debemos dejar atrás al crear recursos educativos: procurar que dichos materiales puedan ser utilizados por el mayor número de personas posible, facilitando que interatúen con los mismos independientemente de sus caracteristicas, capacidades y circunstancias.
Cuando creamos textos, vídeos, audios, sitios web o cualquier otro material educativo debemos tener en cuenta que deben, en la medida de lo posible, estar adaptados a la diversidad del alumnado que podemos encontrar en un aula. En este sentido, diseñar los materiales bajo el prisma de la lectura fácil puede sernos de ayuda.
La lectura fácil es una forma de adaptar la información escrita para facilitar su comprensión para todas las personas, en especial para aquellas que tienen dificultades lectoras o de comprensión transitorias (inmigración, incorporación tardía a la lectura, escolarización deficiente…) o permanentes (trastorno del aprendizaje, diversidad funcional, discapacidad intelectual…).
En la siguiente infografía, recogemos algunas de las recomendaciones de lectura fácil que podemos tener en cuenta a la hora de crear de materiales accesibles para todos.
