ABSTRACT
The diffusion of open education is well represented by the ever-increasing availability of open educational resources and practices that are made freely available on the web without restrictions on their use and reuse. In this paper, after a brief introduction on
information literacy for learners and teachers in the digital age, tools, strategies, and critical issues related to the search and the selection of open educational resources will be discussed.
